A Muslim Man

A Muslim man’s duties are varied according to the Koran. Of them some are listed as the most important. The most important duty a Muslim man needs to do in his life is to provide for his family. He has to always give them financial support and also see to it that they have food, clothing and shelter at all times. He is not a true Muslim at heart if he does not follow this rule.

He may not under any circumstances ask his wife for money. The Muslim wife is entitled to keep her money and wealth all to herself. A man who is Muslim has no right to ask her for it.Muslim men are allowed to marry non-Muslim women. But there are restrictions in that too. They can marry only women who belong to the Christian and Jew faith.

This is allowed in Islam because it is the man who provides for the family, and he will rule the house, and may act according to his wish. A lot of controversy still surrounds Muslim converts. Muslims have in some regions treat them as lesser people because they are not born in the faith. This contradicts the point that they want to spread Islam.

This point can be noted in context to Muslim men marrying non-Muslim women. He is entitled to marry women who have converted to the Islamic faith. A Muslim man must at all times be very modest with a Muslim woman. That is, he must not look at her in a way that may make her feel violated. He must always lower his gaze when he speaks with women who belong to any religion.

A man who is a Muslim must reserve his love only for the woman he marries. He must be involved in any romantic relationship with any woman before his marriage.Islam frowns upon pre-marital sex, and Muslim men must hold their bodies in high regard. Even if a Muslim man does have many wives, he cannot be involved in any physical relationship outside his family.

Men in the Muslim community must also adhere to modest dressing, and not reveal too many parts of his body, though he does not have to dress like Muslim women. From a very young age, a Muslim man is always taught to respect women from his Muslim community. He is also to realize that he must help his Muslim sisters in their time of distress.

A man from the Muslim religion who hunts for a Muslim wife must also have good qualities in his character. He must also make sure that the wife he chooses is spiritual and also will perform her duties. He must also be spiritual in nature, and must maintain good Islamic attitudes, besides being financial settled to support his family. A Muslim man must not be harsh towards his wife, and must also not shun his child if she is born a girl. He must treat her as equal to the others.
