A Muslim bride needs to have certain qualities in her when she gets married. The husband will want her to be thankful and soft hearted. This is exactly how the Koran expects her to be too. This is because she is going to nurture the future generations of the Muslim community, and they will carry on the teachings of their God.
A Muslim bride will always be considered as an equal to her husband. They will have to agree to take up certain responsibilities when they are to marry. They will have to agree to provide food, maintain the house and also rear the children. This does not mean that she is not being treated well.
It is just fair that she also does her share of work. The holy book of Islam has divided the work in such a way, because the woman is not so emotionally strong or physically strong to manage the outside world. A Muslim bride is also treated with a respect that is not seen in many other cultures.
At the time of the marriage, all brides who are Muslims may ask their would be husbands for any kind of dowry they want. It could be any kind of gifts such as property, or money or others. This is to ensure that if she gets divorced from her husband, she may be able to provide for herself and her children.
Muslim brides are also listed in a large number on the internet. They can be found by all Muslim men around the world, who want to marry. The men however should not at any cost take advantage of these women. They must respect them highly. It is stated in the Koran that when a Muslim bride meets her husband, just before the marriage, the man must not look at her indecently.
The men must at all costs look at the women in a very modest way. A bride of the Muslim community, also has to behave in a certain way. They cannot put up indecent photographs of themselves when they post their profiles on Muslim matrimonial sites. At the wedding, she has to be dressed well and dressed decently. She should not reveal any parts of her body for anyone to see.
She must also not indulge in any holding and kissing of friends of the opposite sex while receiving gifts. It is very inappropriate and also very Westernized in culture. A Muslim bride will not be allowed to choose a husband for herself, who belongs to another religion. She must also have her family with her, when she takes decisions about her marriage.
The Koran permits all the brides in the Muslim world, to take their own decisions. They cannot be forced into a marriage. If they are forced, then the marriage becomes illegal. They need not be frightened about facing responsibilities, or leaving their families to go away after marriage. After all the elders in her family, take wise decisions to pick the right person for her.
